NHEV Joins Hands with Netradyne to Transform Electric Mobility Across India’s Connected Highway Network

Press Release | 2nd June 2026: National Highways for Electric Vehicles (NHEV), the Ease of Doing Business initiative building India’s integrated E-Highway ecosystem, has partnered with Netradyne, a global AI-powered mobility and fleet safety technology company, to strengthen the intelligence and electronic layer of India’s connected highway network under the Connected Commercial Vehicle (CCV) Protocol framework.

The collaboration aligns with NHEV’s broader vision of creating interoperable, data-driven and resilient E-Highways capable of supporting long-distance electric freight and passenger mobility across India. As part of the CCV Protocol ecosystem, the partnership will contribute towards building a unified national mobility architecture integrating charging infrastructure, connected fleets, predictive intelligence, telecom systems, digital platforms, and intelligent transport technologies.

Netradyne’s AI-powered fleet safety and mobility intelligence solutions will support predictive risk detection, driver behaviour analytics, fleet visibility, operational monitoring, and real-time safety intelligence across NHEV corridors. The integration is expected to enhance operational reliability, reduce transport risks, improve fleet uptime, and accelerate confidence among commercial EV operators adopting long-haul electric mobility solutions.

The partnership also supports NHEV’s objective of transforming highways into electronically connected transport corridors where infrastructure, vehicles, logistics operators, and mobility intelligence systems operate within one coordinated ecosystem. Through the CCV Protocol approach, NHEV is developing a scalable framework for future-ready freight mobility that combines energy infrastructure with electronic, digital, and AI-enabled operational systems.

As India advances towards Viksit Bharat and net-zero transportation goals, collaborations between infrastructure platforms and AI-driven mobility intelligence companies will play a critical role in enabling safer, smarter, and commercially viable electric transportation networks at national scale.

The partnership with Netradyne reflects the growing importance of AI-powered operational intelligence in shaping the future of India’s electric freight and passenger mobility ecosystem.

Responses on AI-Powered Intelligence for India’s Connected E-Highway Ecosystem

Response from the National Program Director- Ease of Doing Business & NHEV

The world has seen what broken supply chains and oil shocks can do to an economy. NHEV E-Highways are India’s preparedness-driven economic lifeline, ensuring that the movement of essential goods never stops — whether during peacetime, lockdowns, or geopolitical oil crises impacting global supply chains.

India’s E-Highway vision is not only about the charging infrastructure layer, but also about building a connected and trusted mobility ecosystem to gain the confidence of the commercial EV and freight transport sector. This electronic layer will play a critical role in improving driver safety, reducing accidents, enabling predictive risk detection, and strengthening operational reliability for freight fleet operators and passengers alike. Partners like Netradyne are strengthening the intelligence layer that helps make this network operationally dependable, bankable, and commercially viable at scale.

Response from Senior Vice President, EMEA & APAC-Business, Netradyne

Being part of NHEV’s Electronic Highway initiative reflects the scale at which AI-driven mobility infrastructure is evolving in India. Our role is to provide real-time intelligence that improves driver safety, fleet visibility and operational responsiveness across these E-Highways. By enabling early detection of driver fatigue, unsafe behaviour and vehicle distress, we can help reduce road risk and make long-haul EV operations safer and more reliable.
