The efforts through EODB Program have put in and planned to execute for the platform are highly commendable & need-of-the-hour. Our ministry focus with Nodal agencies is on promoting smooth facilitation & implementation of the projects in a time-bound manner.

My wishes and support goes to EODB Team of ASSAR. This program will help India leap from ahead of significantly towards transforming mobility solutions for all & contribute impeccably towards transforming India by adopting cleaner modes of road and surface transportation.

I am happy that “NH for EV 2020” is to enable electronic vehicles with an international standard charging ecosystem. It is our Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi Ji’s dream to transform India through the use of clean modes of transport. The Ministry of Tourism also looks forward to adopting and promoting the same.

I am pleased to know that Delhi-Agra and Delhi - Jaipur are proposed to be the first routes for EVs under MORTH's supported EoDB Program. This would be the first 500 km combined road stretch from Jaipur to Agra via Delhi to invite investors, technologies, growth enablers, and service providers to come, perform trials, and develop their ecosystems. My Whole hearted wishes for the EoDB Program.

National Highway for Electric Vehicles, envisages the opening of charging stations and battery banks for EVs. Given the fact that fossil fuels are not unlimited and their usage results in carbon pollution and global warming of alternate fuel-powered vehicles should be explored with alacrity. I wish ‘NH for EV 2020’ all success.

I am glad to know that India’s first E-Highway is starting its Tech-Trial run from Delhi to Agra and providing an opportunity to accelerate E-mobility adoption in intercity surface transport. I laud the efforts of Shri Abhijeet Sinha and his team for the methodological approach to resume this lockdown-halted project in the same year.
